For Pride Month, we wanted to avoid a generic campaign that didn’t truly represent our place in the queer community. Kate P. and Sofia Kearney from TicketSwap dedicated their time to crafting a Pride campaign that genuinely resonated with our audience and demonstrated the depth of our support for Pride. Our initiatives included funding the production of a queer documentary, adding a global 'Find Your Pride' feature to our app's explore feed, and creating dedicated content for queer fans, including pride playlists and more. Looking forward to Amsterdam Pride this August for another opportunity to produce some amazing & meaningful content! 💙

More often than not, branded pride content pisses LGBTQIA+ people off. I know, because I’m one of those people. So is Sofia Kearney, the incredible visual designer that I work with. So, as we planned our own Pride content at TicketSwap, I had one goal in mind: actually give something tangible back to LGBTQIA+ people. And not just a thoughtless donation that justifies turning our logo rainbow. SO, this Pride our team has: 🍦Supported queer art by helping to fund the production of QUEER RANCH, a documentary created by the brilliant Lydia Bowden and Florence Bass about Queer Ranch Festival, a FLINTA* festival on the Island of Lesbos. It’s some of the most successful video content we’ve put out in a while, which proves just how THIRSTY this community is for properly produced, interesting queer storytelling. 🍦 Added a fully localised, global ‘Find your Pride’ feature to the app’s explore feed to help our LGBTQIA fans keep in touch with their local community and find tickets to queer events near them (and, also, get exposure for their own events!). 🍦 Created dedicated content for our queer fans, like roundups of queer festivals across Europe. 🍦And (just for fun) created a Pride playlist, curated by the sparkly people at TicketSwap. This was all accompanied by FIRE visuals by Sofia Kearney, who literally taught herself a bit of AI prompting just for the purpose of these projects. I’ll let her speak for herself: "I set out to explore new concepts that aligned not only with our style but also resonated with the queer community. I began integrating AI content using Adobe Firefly into my visuals, and it has been incredibly fun. Collaborating and brainstorming ideas with Kate is always one of my favourite moments at TicketSwap, especially when we're crafting queer content together. As queer people, we often find that queer content can feel repetitive. We wanted to create something that resonated with us personally but offered a fresh perspective compared to what's typically out there." I’m so proud of the stuff we’ve done, along with the forces of nature that are Jane Evans and Irem Tucaltan who made all of this possible with their support and advocacy.
Team, working with you is an absolute delight 🍦 Super proud of us all 💖
