After multiple months I realize I have been too "busy" doing the do, I have missed out on celebrating the team and our achievements.
Buckle up LinkedIn connections, you're in for a series of posts over the coming weeks where I will profile the work our Journeys Team has been doing.
So, lets start with the most contentious of them all, the road cone.
After Cyclone Gabrielle we knew we were going to lose the war on the road cone. We wanted to get the number of signs and cones across the network fit-for-purpose so Mokaraka Ruru developed the first "Local Operating Procedures" for TTM in Tairāwhiti.
Fastforward 18 months and we now have multiple local operating procedures that are fit-for-purpose for our local road network. These procedures have been developed in collaboration with the regions TTM suppliers and our Safety and Risk experts.
We know we are on the right pathway to making it a little bit easier for everyone and this is demonstrated through Council developing its own Traffic Management Plan for its contractors to implement when undertaking recovery work.
Our work isn't finished yet...
Empowering transitions. Proud to make it real.
