🥁 TIME OUT MARKET BARCELONA HAS OPENED TODAY 🥁 Our ninth Time Out Market is officially open - it is home to 14 award-winning chefs including two Michelin star chefs with four stars between them, up-and-coming restaurateurs and much-loved local gems, and a full-service restaurant. Or, in short: there's incredible food from the city's best talents and you really shouldn't miss it! The Market also features four bars including one managed by Paradiso - which topped the list of The World's 50 Best Bars 2022 - an event space and a podcast station. Time Out Market Barcelona is located on top of the Maremagnum shopping and leisure destination in the Port Vell area, close to landmarks such as the Gothic Quarter, the Barceloneta and connected to the famous La Rambla via a pedestrian bridge. Put Michelin-Star chefs in a foreign city like Shenzhen and their tenacious passion for quality food is deemed to attract diners. That has, however, come with the cost of locals reluctant to stray from the comfort of a casual dining setting, let alone settle for Western influences in a fancy setting. Originally known ten years ago for its counterfeit luxury goods and cheap houseware, civilians would never envision Shenzhen becoming a food hotspot. But with its then-modest population size (thus fewer preferences) and abundance of natural resources, international food chains saw the opportunity to suss Shenzhen’s potential, and solo chefs were a close ensue. From Restaurants To Hawkers Markets, Here's The Best Restaurants In Hong Kong This Year
Hong Kong is the third-most-expensive city worldwide for dining at Michelin-starred restaurants, according to a recent analysis by Chef's Pencil. The study examined over 3,300 Michelin-starred establishments globally, focusing on the cost of premium dinner tasting menus. The median price of Hong Kong's priciest tasting menus stands at USD 266 (approximately HKD 2,080). Only Copenhagen and Macau surpassed Hong Kong in terms of Michelin dining expenses. Although Hong Kong ranks second globally in terms of Michelin expenses, following Denmark, it also boasts the third-largest number of three-starred restaurants globally, trailing behind Paris and Tokyo. Iceland, Singapore, and the USA complete the top five countries or territories with the highest Michelin expenses. Also in Asia, Vietnam's average Michelin-starred meal costs approximately USD 130 (about HKD 1,106), which is just over half the price of dining in Hong Kong.
