A shipment of T-shirts and Cargo pants from CONTAINER HUB TRADING LLC was to be delivered today and we were running late on the schedule, but thanks to the incredible teamwork and dedication of Hari, Joban and Opu, we ensured our customer received their order – even if it meant working additional hours! These champions put in the extra hours to customise, process, and deliver the shipment, prioritizing customer satisfaction at every step. Today we're handing the mic over to our very own Jordan Fenske, who has volunteered to be the first PXL Key Account Manager to give a sneak peak into our operations! 🎤 "Let’s talk about how Port X Logistics is working to serve our customers better than ever this year. One of our core tenets has always been working with a sense of urgency, and we are stressing that again as we begin the year. We want our customers to know that every email they send to us is being looked at immediately and being actioned as quickly as possible. Every email is critical, every quote request is high priority. We find it particularly rewarding when we can help a customer who’s awarded work to another carrier that had a service failure. Jumping into a live project and saving the day is what gets us up in the morning. We had a cool success story from this past week that we’ll get into more detail during next week’s K.A.M. post, but the message we send to our customers is that each request is important. Whether that be a simple round trip dray out of Chicago, a Flat Rack arriving to Maher Terminal in NJ that requires transloading, or a cross border dray/transload/OTR from Prince Rupert to the Midwest – we have the skills to put a solution in place and do it as quickly as possible. Our Carrier 911 team, specializing in expedited CFS and airport pickups, is a perfect example of the urgency we preach. Quotes provided within 20 minutes, and a truck on site within 60-90 minutes. I posted recently about how frustrating the lack of communication in our industry can be. Folks don’t like to pick up the phone anymore, emails go hours without an answer, and sometimes it just feels like carriers often do not make good communication a priority. We feel it’s not enough just to put a truck in motion and update our customers later. Giving our customers information in real time is equally important to the success of the shipment and building a good relationship. This urgency is one of our most important Brand Differentiators and one that we revisit often to ensure we remain a leg up during today’s competitive market. We understand our customers have choices – and so we work every day to make that choice easy for them."
