Here is a rundown of the main topics discussed throughout the session: 💲Current exit markets show too much volatility to safely IPO and corrections need to be made to stabilise it. 💲 When planning your exit strategy it is important to discuss with your board and team ahead of time. 💲 Actively seek buyers so that you can choose the best exit offers possible. These options will allow you to use them as leverage when negotiating a proposal. 💲 When an offer has been made, focus on the reason why they are buying as it can be used to create the best transaction between founders, investors, and new buyers. 💲 If you are a small angel, show your value asap to new VCs that invest in growth rounds, if not be ready to step out of the way. I recently had the honor to join Dave Zook, Patrick Grimes, and Bronson Hill at The Alternative Investment Summit. One of the topics we discussed was the logical price movements we see in the alternative world versus what we see in the stock market. Traditional investments require more attention and monitoring, especially in a volatile market. Most of the time, when you think something good happened, the stock market responds by crashing, and when you think that something bad happened, the market turns out to rally.
