It seems strange that I can get excited by selling 4 copies of a book last week! I know it’s not the next Dan Brown novel, but to me it’s 4 more people in the world who are probably going to improve the performance of their business and probably going to step forward in their careers. That makes it all worthwhile. Grateful for an inspiring book wrote by Felix Oberholzer-Gee, professor at Harvard Business School on how to achieve exceptional performance by monitoring the value you continually create in your company. Do you know why your company is successful now/or why it isn't? Ask yourself: 💹1) what do you do to increase customer willingness to pay- do you capture the maximum value your customer is willing to pay? 💹2) what does it do to reduce costs or bring more value to customers, suppliers, communities? 💹3) do you know the relationship between value creation, pricing and cost? What better way to run a business than to generate value for yourself, others and the world, to touch their lives in a meaningful way? A book full of applicability and wisdom🙏
