Part 2. Using this ducting bent at sharp angles will hinder airflow and pressure, which can then destroy your Desiccant unit or reduce its life span drastically. It's very important to run the duct in the position you require prior to cutting outlets and run the dumidifier, taking an airflow reading at the Ag pipe outlet and the Desiccant return air. Adjustments in duct size, length, install or dehumifier size will be required on almost every project. Cut/drill your outlets whilst leaving end of duct open and Dehumidification operational. Once you have outlets where you need them, check airflows and tape off duct end in increments until your happy with the set up. I then use thermal imagery as a final process to ensure I'm getting dry air where I want it. Using the ag pipe over conventional ducting gives me ability to flex and stay in place, ability to run up and down walls, i can drop it in puddles, i can squash it (with limitations), i can wash/sanitise, use it many times over and a 6mt length folds into a nice little bundle for carrying or transporting. It also allow far better heat transfer to wet surfaces whilst not loosing large amounts of heat over the length of the ducting. Ag pipe also allows me to easily cut and attached y pieces for larger surface areas. TBC
