#blog post 👋🏼 Weekly learnings and updates: Microsoft Azure, Pooja Dutt, Freelance, AWS - I'm a little late in the week to be posting this, but I thought I'd put out a blog about what I'm doing at the moment - Gridiron project: I'll be learning about CI/CD piplines in azure and setting them up. I'll also be implementing a deployed dev environment and a deployed production environment. - Job hunt: I'm currently learning how to reachout to recruiters a little more effectively than I used to using a course by pooja dutt "LinkedIn Mastery Guide". I have only recieved one message when reaching out to a recruiter, but hopefully this improves things. I'll also try with hiring managers. - Freelance: I haven't have time to make a contract, but I'll plan a template soon. I'll post a pic of something I created that's still in-progress for a client below. - studying on the side: I'm studying for the AWS cloud practitioner cert using plural site on the side of everything going on. I'm hoping to get most things done this week. If not there's always next week. 🚀 My First Cloud Project: Successfully Deployed a WordPress Website on AWS! I’m thrilled to share that I have successfully deployed a fully functional WordPress website on AWS. This project was a great learning experience, involving several key AWS services and demonstrating a well-architected infrastructure. ⭐Key Highlights: •Custom VPC: Created a secure virtual private cloud with public and private subnets, route tables, and an Internet Gateway. •EC2 Instance: Launched and configured an EC2 instance with a LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL client, PHP) to host WordPress. •RDS Database: Set up an Amazon RDS instance with MySQL to manage the WordPress database. •Security: Configured security groups to control inbound and outbound traffic, ensuring secure access. 🖥️Technologies Used: •AWS Services: VPC, EC2, RDS, Security Groups •Software: WordPress, Apache, MySQL, PHP •Tools: AWS CLI, SSH This project was an excellent opportunity to apply cloud computing concepts and gain practical experience with AWS.
