#Timberland
VP GM Timberland Americas | ex REI Nike Target Google | Board Director | GM | International and US
Wrapped up an exhilarating first week at #ffany in my new role as Vice President and General Manager of #Timberland Americas. It’s been incredible, diving into the world of craftsmanship, community engagement, and building authentic connections with our consumers and partners.
And yes, I even got to strut around NYC in those iconic boots…feeling “cool”. Excited for this new adventure and grateful for the opportunity.
Je T’imbs!
Incrível, espetacular.
Comprei uma timberland com 20 anos, hoje tenho 37 anos. Eu tenho minha timberland até hoje, NOVINHA.
Incredible, spectacular.
I bought a 20-year-old timberland, today I'm 37 years old. I have my timberland until today, BRAND NEW.
Infelizmente não tem mais loja da timberland no Brasil.
Estão Fabricando (Yellow boot timberlad no Brasil) mas a qualidade é horrível, não sei como a timberland oficial permite a fabricacao.
Unfortunately there is no longer a timberland store in Brazil.
They are Manufacturing (Yellow boot timberlad in Brazil) but the quality is horrible, I don't know how the official timberland allows the manufacture.

EXPLORE NAIVASHA'S SECRET
There is just one “Crescent Island Game Sanctuary”. Located on Lake Naivasha, in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya. It is one of the most beautiful parks in Kenya and is often called Naivasha’s best-kept secret. Perfect for Wildlife Watching, Bird Enthusiasts, and all fans of the wilderness...
Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake, unlike Lakes Elementaita, Nakuru and Bogoria which are Soda. It lies at 6,200 feet above sea level, about 95km north of Nairobi in the Great Rift Valley. Crescent Island and the adjacent Lotus Island, home of a Yacht Club, form the rim of an extinct volcano protruding out of this Lake in the shadow of Mount Longonot, also an extinct volcano, close to Hell’s Gate National Park.
The name Naivasha derives from the local Maasai name Nai’posha meaning “rough water”. The circumference of the Lake is about 80 km, the deepest part is within the Crescent at roughly 18 meters. It is known to have dried out twice since 1898 and is fed by two rivers, one being the Malewa whose source is in the Aberdares. It had one indigenous fish until 1929 when the Black Bass were introduced, followed by Tilapia in 1956 but Carp is now predominant.
In the 1940s when air travel first came to Kenya en route from England to South Africa, the four-engined Flying-Boats landed on Lake Naivasha and the foundations of the Terminal and Customs shed can still be seen today on Crescent Island. It was also pictured on Kenya postage stamps from 1949 to 1952.
Naivasha has seen huge development since the 1980s, the climate ideal for horticulture. Many of the flowers and vegetables sold in the supermarkets in the UK are grown here. Just forty km south of the Equator with a nearly all year even temperature, the combination of dry heat during the day , the cool evenings of high altitude plus close proximity to Nairobi on good roads and easy access to wildlife have made it a hugely attractive place to live with many hotels and houses built around the Lake.

Buenos Aires # 3
A day tour to the Tigre delta and a boat ride down the Parana River.
Argentina’s capital city, Buenos Aires, is on the bank of Rio De La Plata. At 220 kilometres (140 miles) wide, it is the widest river in the world! Many smaller rivers flow from the north into Rio De La Plata. One of those smaller rivers is called the Rio Paraná. Where the Rio Paraná meets Rio De La Plata, a delta has formed. Within this delta area, just north of Buenos Aires, is a small town called El Tigre.
The environment of El Tigre is really special. The islands that form in the delta are covered with lush green plants. In one small area you can find dozens of different plant species that are thriving because there is so much water available. Many animals live here, too, including colocolos (wildcats), marsh deer, and capybaras (big rodents). El Tigre was named for the jaguars, which are locally called tigres, that were once hunted here. There are no jaguars left in the area.
Each household in El Tigre has a boat. In fact, once you leave the main shore, the only way to travel through the town is by water. The canals are marked with signs, just like street signs, so that people can find their way around.
The town is known for its fruit market, reminiscent of the former Les Halles market in Paris. The lands of the county northeast of the Luján River are marshland interlaced with numerous rivers and canals of the Paraná River delta.
💥OUR NEW PROJECT💪WILD HORSES EUROPE 🐎
The only way to really understand the horse is to immerse yourself in his world. In his natural, wild and unconditional world.
Observing his life, his behavior, his social life is extremely necessary to understand the horse in its essence. But how can we acquire this knowledge? Just by immersing ourselves in the world of #wildhorse.🐎
The real wild is now very rare to live and also regarding horses there is no place in the world where they do not see man. In Europe, then, the situation is more complicated: these animals do not have at their disposal the vast territories on which the iconic Mustangs of the United States can move, and often are territories inhabited by man, hence the need to manage them in a different and potentially invasive way.
But we at #Animantia never give up and always go in search of remote and immaculate places where horses can simply be themselves. Where they can live without any human intervention or with proper management. Hard work but, after a few years of site inspections, we decided to launch our #Wildexperiences in #Europe, as well as in the #UnitedStates. Yes, wild horses also in Europe. There are and are very beautiful and especially interesting to experience.
📒In years we have selected only what comes closest to the real "wild". From #Italy to #Spain and #Portugal, we have chosen places where horses are kept to a minimum and live as naturally and independently as possible. This guarantees that we can observe their social and emotional life more pristine. Only in this way can we answer the question: who is the horse? The journey starts from here... and never ends!
👉Are you ready? Then we are waiting for you at the #WildHorsesEurope events. Three destinations starting this spring: Italy Spain and Portugal.
Unique experiences that you will always carry with you, even in your relationship with your horses. Once you meet the proud and brilliant gaze of a free horse, you cannot forget it!
