Neuralink's recent success in enabling a patient to play chess using thought alone marks a groundbreaking advancement in brain-computer interface (BCI) technology, potentially revolutionizing software development and enhancing IoT device interaction. By allowing direct brain-computer communication, developers could see a surge in productivity and innovation, executing ideas at thought speed. This technology also promises a more integrated physical and digital world, where controlling devices through thought could become the norm, offering unprecedented convenience and accessibility, particularly for those with disabilities.
However, this progress comes with ethical concerns, including privacy, consent, and the potential for misuse. Addressing these challenges requires robust ethical frameworks and regulations to ensure that BCI technology benefits society while respecting individual rights. Despite these hurdles, Neuralink's achievement signals a transformative future in human-computer interaction, urging a balanced approach to its potential and ethical implications.

What happens when #AI chooses desirable traits in humans?
AI is being used to identify #future Olympic athletes.
It takes much more than biology to determine the success of an athlete, or any other “winner.”
Better athletes.
Better soldiers.
Better ____ (what might AI value in the future ?)
This approach is a step toward the slippery slope of genetic engineering.
So many brilliant humans in history were impactful despite some level of dyslexia, ADHD, neurodivergent, learning, physical, health, or social challenges.
Some are Noble Prize winners, some household names, and millions quietly contributing to their families and communities every day.
I cannot imagine where life, or humanity without any one of them.
Character, perseverance, creativity, integrity, empathy, and a million other little things contribute to “success”.
Shouldn’t each person have the freedom to decide what #success looks like - first them ?
Genetic engineering and “selection” are among some of today’s many important and timely #science and #biotech topics.

AI Aims To Identify Future Olympians
Artificial Intelligence, and specifically computer vision has many powerful applications especially when it comes to motion interpretation which is ultimately math as it relates to the angles of the body, limbs, velocity, and so forth.
As fun as this particular use case is, AI cannot measure the depth of a person’s motivation, belief in themselves, and ultimately their desire to win.
The bumble bee, as an example, defies physics and yet it flies. So can be said about a person who may not be ‘built’ like an Olympian and yet possesses the heart of one.
As a child, I was obese and never built like a runner however I went on to secure my pro card for triathlon and duathlon, represent my country at two world championships, and run in six Boston Marathons.
Let us hope that as wonderful as this technology is, it does not deter a future gold medalist.

📱⚾️ "Tech Takes the Field: Transforming the T20 World Cup Experience"🏏
Ever wondered how technology is changing the game in T20 cricket? 🤔
As tech enthusiasts and dying fans as well, Let's go to the insider's tour of the cutting-edge innovations that are transforming the world's fastest-paced cricket format.
📌 Smart ball technology:-
Imagine a cricket ball that can send real-time data on speed, spin and trajectory,
Well,
➡ The secret lies in the microchips and sensors inside the ball that use AI to analyze every movement.
➡ This helps players and coaches make informed decisions and adjust strategies on the spot.
📌Hawkeye and Ultra Edge 📡:-
➡ Hawkeye tracks the ball’s path for accurate LBW decisions,
while Ultra Edge detects even the smallest edge of the bat using high-speed cameras and sensitive microphones.
➡ This ensures fair play and reduces mistakes.
📌 Spider Cam and Drone Cameras:-
➡ Spider Cam and drone cameras provide dynamic aerial shots during matches, enhancing the viewing experience.
➡ Spider Cam moves across the field on cables, while drones capture footage from unique angles.
📌 Data Analytics and Player Tracking:-
➡ Advanced software tracks player's performance and game stats, aiding coaches in planning strategies.
➡ Wearable devices monitor player's vital signs and movements, helping to prevent injuries and optimize performance.
📌 LED Stumps and Bails:-
➡ LED stumps and bails light up when knocked over, making it clear when a batsman is out. This is especially useful for night matches.
➡ Helps umpires make quick and correct decisions.
