During the darkness of an eclipse, we know that animal behaviours can differ from their original patterns. Understandably, they display patterns typically seen during their nighttime routines. Wildlife may also be more active just before and right after the eclipse; we may hear wildlife calling out more frequently; and we may see nocturnal wildlife during the day. Our team won't be flying our birds during the eclipse and will be extra vigilant for abnormal bird activity taking place before, after and during the eclipse. For education purposes, they will be taking advantage of this rare moment to document any interesting and uncommon wildlife behaviours. Interestingly, it also happens to be mating season, which may give insight into how birds returning from wintering down south will react to the celestial phenomenon. It seems like dolphins are the most popular animals from the sea right?🐬 I used to like them most out of the sea animals as well, but my husband didn't get tired to tell me about there many evil sides 😆😅 Apparently due to their intelligence they love to play - and also do this on the costs of other animals. They intentionally harass other sea animals, get high on the poison from the pufferfish and worse (google it if you dare xD) 😱 Obviously not the characteristics I see as worth to integrate in our lives, but it very well shows us one thing: Every coin has two sides 🪙 Here are the dolphins inspiring sides: 🐬Collaboration: Dolphins often work together to hunt and protect their pod. They value the time with their pod and single dolphin often try to compensate their loneliness by approaching humans ;). 🐬Curiosity: These inquisitive creatures are known for their curiosity, which is probably the reason why the are able to learn so many things. 🐬Communication: Dolphins communicate with complex sounds body language. As we have a very complex verbal system in many different languages I feel we sometime forget that we can also use non-verbal language as well. Sometime even more effective than with words, do you agree? Photo ©: Uwe Haider #SuccessMindset #animals #schleich #dolphin
