Started this morning with this interesting list of 24 things for 2024 (but spoiler alert - its actually 27 things, including the 3 bonus thoughts!) curated by LiveMint's Vivek Kaul. A few that resonated with me (in no particular order): - Your brain also needs exercise. So read long documents, or what they used to call books. - Tomorrow will be like today, until it isn’t. So prepare for risks rather than try and forecast them because among other things risks include what you don’t know that you don’t know. - And if you are bored with the way you invest you are probably doing it correctly, even if you are not enjoying it. For enjoyment there’s always Netflix. - Diamonds are not a woman’s best friend. Gold perhaps is. - Everything you experience in life need not be turned into a LinkedIn post. - Test drive a car before you buy it. And not just cars.
