The last few days at HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition has been exceptional! The Core Mobile team, including our CEO & Founder Chandra Shekhar Tekwani, have been listening to speakers about a number of topics related to healthcare, but the conversations about the way in which Artificial Intelligence can propel healthcare into the future and help us meet global healthcare priorities really made us think. The Global Healthcare priorities are: 1. Improving access to healthcare 2. Improving outcomes 3. Health equity 4. Climate change Robert C. Garrett Garret from Hackensack Meridian Health dove right into the subject of AI and its potential to scale healthcare delivery to meet the needs of our patients, whose numbers are likely double in the coming years. At Core Mobile, we could not agree more! Our solutions leverage AI in order to improve hospital capacity by 5% - 20% without increasing hospital staff or adding buildings - which is good for healthcare providers, patients and the environment! At the same time, Robert C. Garrett stresses that we cannot forget the importance of the human touch. Humans are at the heart of healthcare and while AI can do a lot to support the work of hospitals and healthcare providers, it cannot replace human intervention. This is why Core Mobile spends so much time at hospitals where it deploys to fit the technology to the people in a way that is most organic and aligns with the workflows already in place. At the end of the day, we agree with this quote by Atul Gawande - the work of healthcare is the work of well-being. “And well-being is about reasons one wishes to be alive.” Core Mobile handles the tech, so that providers can focus on keeping patients healthy with the human touch. #himss2024 #himss

Scaling product and organizations dedicated to the mission of improving healthcare quality, affordability, access and equity
I recently attended a Modern Healthcare, Inc. Virtual Conference, where industry leaders explored the future of value-based care (VBC) and the critical role of AI and data analytics in transforming healthcare. Dr. Jaewon Ryu, President & CEO of Risant Health, discussed how evidence-based guidelines are shaping more cost-effective, patient-centered care across diverse health systems. Dr. Beau Raymond, MD MMM FACP, CMO of Ochsner Health Network, highlighted the integration of AI into clinical workflows, enabling clinicians to make more informed decisions and improve patient outcomes. Dr. Peter Angood, CEO of the American Association for Physician Leadership®, stressed the importance of clinician leadership in ensuring that AI and data-driven solutions are successfully adopted in VBC models. A key theme across the conference was how predictive analytics and AI are becoming foundational tools in healthcare. For example, Geisinger used AI to significantly improve early cancer detection by identifying high-risk patients and prioritizing screenings. Another takeaway was how AI-powered remote monitoring is enhancing chronic disease management, reducing hospital admissions, and improving patient engagement. Integration of evidence-based guidelines, supported by advanced analytics, is helping providers optimize treatment pathways, reduce costs, and focus on preventive care. For the entirety of my career we’ve talked about the potential for technology tp transform healthcare, but with AI, advanced analytics, and the incentives of value-based care, we’re finally seeing it play out in real time. The shift toward more personalized, proactive care is happening now, driven by the need to improve outcomes while reducing costs. There are risks, but the potential for smarter, more efficient healthcare is tremendous and boy do we need that ASAP! #ValueBasedCare #AIinHealthcare #DataAnalytics #HealthcareLeadership #PredictiveAnalytics #HealthTech #HealthcareInnovation
