𝗙𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗿𝘀 I've been wondering - what are employers' thoughts on hiring cancer survivors? There is a lot of content on my LinkedIn profile about cancer since I'm a 17-year survivor, share my cancer story publicly & give others space to share theirs as well. Been thinking - are potential employers going to be turned off because I have cancer, and what factors do they consider? I wonder what employer's thoughts are on cancer patients and survivors working for them? If you are an employer or work in HR, please let me know your thoughts in the chat. Every cancer survivor's journey is different, but I can tell you that cancer has made me: 👉More resilient 👉 Self aware 👉 Grateful for each moment 👉 A source of inspiration for others 👉 Maintain a positive outlook despite challenges I am looking for a full-time remote position where I can make a positive impact in the world, preferably for a cancer organization or another nonprofit. If you would share this post, I would greatly appreciate it. LUUUUUVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV ❤️ Tim #employment #HR #humanresources #nonprofit #hiring #livestreaming #cancerawareness #work #office #remote
And you forgot, nothing at work is harder than what we cancer patients go through.
We are a powerful testimony to endurance, inner strength and thankfulness...peace
Tim Sohn. Oh of course absolutely I concur with you on this one!
