I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but how does one get past ageism and being disabled? I'm 54 and have a disability and haven't worked in 12 years. Well I worked hard to get better and be an active part of society. I've applied for many remote jobs and can't get an interview. I need remote due to disability. I have tried applying for onsite jobs and will explain my situation. However I can't get an interview. People say don't tell them about your disability. First I'm not going to start off with a lie. Also why haven't I worked in 12 years. Then told get a haircut and dye job. look younger. That takes money which requires a job. Please can someone advise on this situation?
