The Dragon Boat Festival is one of the most popular traditional festivals celebrated in China, which is on the fifth of the fifth lunar month, also known as Duanwu Festival. It's said that it is to commemorate a Chinese patriotic poet, Qu Yuan. The traditions and customs held on this festival differ from place to place, but there are some common in them. First, the most famous and great tradition is holding Dragon Boat races. Nowadays dragon boat races have been an annual popular sport activity among people. In addition, making and eating Zongzi—a dumpling made of glutinous rice and wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves—is also a popular custom during this day. It can be made by many kinds of stuffing. These customs and traditions have been changed a little in recent years, but they still make contribution to the spread and inheritance of Chinese culture. https://lnkd.in/gjfrGAgP #titanium #ti #titaniumbar #titaniumwire #titaniumplate #titaniumtube #titaniumsheet #alloy

The Chinese Tradition of the Dragon Boat Festival As the traditional Dragon Boat Festival, I am reminded of the rich cultural heritage and vibrant spirit that accompanies this ancient celebration. Originating in China, the Dragon Boat Festival is not just a holiday; it's a celebration of history, community, and the resilience of our ancestors. One of the most iconic traditions during this festival is the thrilling dragon boat race. Teams of paddlers, dressed in vibrant uniforms, race across the water in long, narrow boats adorned with the majestic image of a dragon. The sound of drums beating in unison, the cheers of spectators, and the speed and agility of the boats create an electrifying atmosphere. This festival also marks the time when we honor the legendary scholar #QuYuan, who is said to have committed suicide by drowning in a river due to his despair over the corrupt state of his country. To prevent fish from eating his body, people threw rice dumplings #zongzi into the water, which later evolved into the custom of eating zongzi during the Dragon Boat Festival. As we gather to watch the dragon boat races and enjoy the festivities, let us also remember the values that Qu Yuan represented: integrity, patriotism, and the quest for truth and justice. These values are as relevant today as they were centuries ago. #DragonBoatFestival #DragonBoatRacing #ChineseCulture #QuYuanLegend #Zongzi #CulturalHeritage #Qualitylife #PCBMay
