Time for new shoes on my daily! Still has the OE Bridgestone HT’s on it. Tire people (and everyone else) what are your recommendations? I drive off road quite a bit, and I love a good M/T tire. Disclaimer: I’m not looking for discounts or freebies, just advice on what will look good and perform. What do I swap to? What’s your favorite tire these days? #forerunner #offroadtire #tireindustry

On Sunday this crowd gathered to celebrate Charles Leclerc’s win for Ferrari at their home track in Monza, Italy. It was pure euphoria. It got me thinking about the ‘state’ of the people in the crowd and what changed inside them on account of being a part of this victory celebration. In my mind, they expanded. They, for a short time, were larger and capable of more. More creative. More joyful. More kind. More brave. More generous. More strong. More resilient. This, in my view, is what happens to us when we are in the presence of Sacredness. Sacredness doesn’t have to be deep and heavy. Most people make this mistake. It can be hugely fun and joyful too, like these Formula 1 fans. So what might happen within businesses if people are similarly ‘expanded’? What might businesses gain in terms of performance and output? A lot. This is the challenge for businesses of our time: to create the conditions where people are pulled out of their dulled state and transcend to a higher state. Sacredness - of any kind - is the doorway. Sacredness can and should belong in businesses. It will transform businesses by transforming the people within them. Sacred Success. Its a big idea and it could change the world.

Organisational Effectiveness Coach > Building Future-Ready Businesses | Coach for Bold Leaders & Adaptive Teams
𝗖𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲? 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘁'𝘀 𝗙𝟭 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁? In Formula One, where competition is cutthroat and stakes are high, even leading teams can fall victim to the 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗮𝘀. This occurs when favouritism and personal connections cloud judgment, leading to unethical decisions with disastrous consequences, like the Renault Crashgate scandal. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 • 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲: A charismatic team principal with a strong influence on Renault F1. • 𝗡𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘁 𝗝𝗿.: A young, promising driver struggling to live up to expectations. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘅 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟴 Renault desperately needed a win to maintain championship momentum. Briatore, known for his "win at all costs" mentality, allegedly devised a shocking plan. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 Piquet Jr., eager to prove himself and perhaps swayed by loyalty to Briatore, was instructed to deliberately crash his car during the race. This would trigger a safety car, potentially benefiting his teammate, Fernando Alonso. 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 The plan worked. Alonso secured a controversial win, but the victory was hollow. The scandal remained a ticking time bomb. In 2009, Piquet Jr. revealed the orchestrated crash, exposing Briatore and Renault's unethical scheme. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘂𝘁: 𝗔 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 • 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘁: Fined a record amount and hit with a public image crisis. The scandal eroded trust within the team and tarnished their reputation for years. • 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲: Banned from Formula One for his role in the scandal. • 𝗣𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘁 𝗝𝗿.: His career suffered significantly due to the scandal. 𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 • 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: Prioritize integrity above blind loyalty. Cutting corners and unethical practices will only damage your team in the long run. • 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗺: Decisions and promotions should be based on merit and performance, not personal connections. • 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Open communication and a culture of accountability are essential for preventing unethical behaviour and maintaining trust. This serves as a stark reminder that loyalty not bound by ethics and value for all implodes careers and futures. Like this post? F1 team owners rejected Andretti’s entry saying it would dilute the brand. Of the 10 existing teams you currently have 4 competitive teams, 3 non competitive and 3 non existent. With a 40% competitive ratio adding Andretti - and assuming they did nothing - the competitive ratio would only change by -3.6%. The F1 brand would go from 40% to 36.4% competitive. On the flip side, if they were successful, the competitive ratio would rise +5.5%. This means there’s more potential upside than downside to allowing them to enter F1. #racing #f1 #indycar #andretti #andrettiglobal #competition #openwheelracing #racecar #openwheel #motorsport #marioandretti #michaelandretti #marcoandretti #jeffandretti

Marketing and Business Development Director, Consultant and CMO - Building and Transforming your business
How do you celebrate your wins? 🥇 I am lucky enough to have an amazing network where we support each other all day, every day. Being self-employed can be incredibly difficult, especially when times get hard. I am a firm advocate for celebrating the good times too. When I was in sales and received John Lewis vouchers for hitting targets on top of commission, it felt like a real treat to go and choose a reward, even though I’m not materialistic. I often bought things for other people and that was a reward in itself. A card and recognition means a lot to me. What would mean a lot to you as a reward? First prize will go to the first person to mention an Aston Martin One 77 or a Ducati 😂 #marketing #rewards #sales #businessgrowth www.gemmaangharad.com

For some, an all-season tyre is any tyre that’s used throughout the entire year. Others know what these products are, but assume they come with certain limitations. Sales within the segment nonetheless grew across Europe by 66 per cent between 2019 and 2023, and Dunlop is thus accompanying the recent launch of its All Season 2 with a campaign to highlight the various misconceptions that surround all-season tyres. https://lnkd.in/eij-aVNh
