Seems that 'fear of failure' is a common reason for not doing new things. So, even if an employee recognises a problem and knows there's learning to help solve it... this may not be enough to inspire action. Part of building a learning culture is making sure employees regularly see co-workers overcoming 'fear of failure' to deliver better outcomes and develop great careers.

The third of three conference presentations from this week! This was a virtual session for the Board of Certified Safety Professionals Global Learning Summit presented with SafeStart, A division of Electrolab. The first three months of a job is the time when an employee is most likely to get injured. This session explored ways to keep employees safe from before they are hired through 'graduation' from their onboarding experience.
