The agreement is signed by parents and students, and a copy is sent to the school to help support students and families when situations arise. A Family Tech Agreement can be a game-changer! This agreement is a clear and collaborative document signed by students, parents, and supported by the school. It outlines home device use expectations, creating a third-party reference point for healthy tech habits. Here's how it helps: Clear Expectations: Defines who owns the device, where it's used, and responsible charging habits. Focus on Learning: Encourages using devices for homework and exploration while managing distractions. Family Discussions: Provides a framework for open conversations about apps, games, and social media use. Cyberbullying Prevention: Empowers students to seek help with online issues.
