This is something I have been working on so found this talk very useful. I often struggle to know how much to put on slides, especially when displaying data or findings, so the stat that 65% of people are visual learners will help guide my future presentations. Congratulations to the brilliant Team at Tarmac, who have recently implemented Aptem for the delivery of their apprenticeships. The project has been led by Donna Limer, Training System Analyst and Shabnam Pressley, Training Systems & Quality Assurance Manager. Their Aptem Implementation Consultant, Claire Sykes, says, "We worked in close partnership with the Tarmac team to implement Aptem, positioning them to scale up effectively. Leveraging Aptem's configurability, they are now equipped to utilise the platform for all provisions moving forward, including commercial activities."   Shabnam explains their reasons for adopting Aptem: “Before Aptem, our processes were extremely manual and time-consuming. We are delighted to have Aptem's expertise to support us with this digital transformation project. As we aim to upscale our delivery as a main provider, the Aptem platform will enable us to reduce manual interventions through automation and provide visibility of data to ensure our delivery standards remain high. This will allow us to focus our time on the learner experience, ultimately resulting in successful outcomes." #Apprenticeships #EdTech #vocationaltraining

The BDA Training & Education Sub-Committee met on 16th January 2025, via Teams, focusing on enhancing training opportunities, advancing qualifications, and improving standards across the drilling sector. Discussions took place around the Level 3 VQ review, the launch of new Core Handling training video and suggestions for future training videos. The Trailblazer Apprenticeship Scheme was also discussed.
