Last year, someone I admire and respect very much for having built his own company asked me: why don't you show more of your work?
He was referring to my business portraits, yet his question triggered a much more profound soul-searching.
This is what his question led to so far:
- in 2024, I want to talk more about what I love, what I believe in and what I strive for
- in 2024, my professional focus will be on sharing my expertise with others, because I strongly believe in what Steve Jobs illustrates in below video: the magic, the growth of a team, is in the sharing. It's in the challenging of each other's beliefs, ideas and goals. It's in the daily self-leadership we all choose to take on.
- in 2024, I'm going back to the basics of applying all of the above, starting in our own little Belgian Unlimitail team, with a beginner's mind 🔥
Yes, I have 13 years of pioneering retail media in Belgium under my belt. Yet if today I were to start fresh, without any knowledge, I would start by defining what role retail media should fulfill for a brand.
My opinion? It should amplify national communication campaigns on the right audience, at the right time, through the right medium and with the right message.
