Making images 'just for the hell of it.' I found this image buried inside my instagram folder on my Google Drive and realised it had never seen the light of day. As a kettle Bell enthusiast myself, I thought it would be fun to a) make one in 3D and b) place it in an environment that is completely random. It doesn't really make too much sense, why would you stack a heavy 16kg KB on top of some delicate balancing wine glasses? I guess that is the beauty of CGI. Extremely complicated and physical set builds become very quickly, uncomplicated ones in 3D space. Today should see the end of a live project I am working on and then hopefully, I can make some more random stuff for no reason other than I can. #cgi #cgiartist #productdesign #kettlebells #shotbytobi #productvisualization #productvisualisation

Dear Linked In network, I would like to share some renders from a recent game-ready model that I made in Blender! The model counts 4.1k tris in total and is optimized for real-time use. I hope you enjoy the renders (more on my artstation)😊 I also posted the model on Sketchfab for those who want to see it in 3D. Artstation: https://lnkd.in/emk3tBtn Sketchfab: https://skfb.ly/oQEML Important note: this model is based on the "Micromachine" concept of Fernando Correa, definitely check him out on Artstation or Instagram! https://lnkd.in/ecKTvKqx

I used to be totally against adding imperfections to surfaces when doing product visualization. My thought behind that was "Product Photographers go through a lot of hassle to keep the products dust and scratch-free. And why should I bother creating those imperfections, right? After some serious back and forth on this, I finally got it. Turns out, there are specific imperfections that products naturally have from the molding or production process. That can add to realism or a CGI render. What do you think?

WHO'S TAKING THE PICTURE? The idea behind these images was to try and recreate that analogue look of the original Triumph motoring mags/brochures. So it was important for me to understand several factors. I always try to consider is who is taking the picture? What are the characteristics of the equipment? What camera or lens are they using? How sharp will the image be? What are things that you try to take into consideration when creating 3D visuals? Stag model by Marc Shephard Environment : Megascans Softwares used : Maya , Arnold , Substance Painter , Photoshop. #drivenbydesign® #TheDriveway™ #automotivedesign #CharlesGeneratedImages #CGI #visualization
