In my civil engineering course, Springer 1, we've delved into essential topics like communication, stormwater management, construction management, and transportation—key components in any civil engineering project. What makes this class particularly engaging is the hands-on experience, as our team, HGAV Eng. Inc., had the chance to redesign Dawson Park, right here in Clemson. This project allowed us to apply what we learned in a real-world context, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and practical problem-solving, both of which are fundamental in the field of civil engineering.
