Leaving Las Vegas… …after a productive couple of days at the Digital Twin Consortium! There is growing demand for good quality representations of engineered products by operators of factories and other infrastructure (like airports or utilities). They want to use 3D as a universal language for navigating around “live” assets, while planning and managing change. The thing is, much of what is inside a facility was delivered by a supplier, not made in-house by the operator. So there’s opportunity for suppliers to augment the value of what they sell by delivering the twin along with the product. Done right, this will generate ancillary revenue without compromise on IP protection. #3ds #dtc #virtualtwin #commerce
A virtual twin delivered alongside a physical product will catapult brand experiences into a new dimension. New possibilities open up when you can interact with a digital product on every level. And while safeguarding IP? Perfection 👏
Awesome! 💪
