As nuclear becomes the logical choice for dispatchable, 24x7, carbon free power the AP1000’s at Vogtle are an excellent benchmark for Generation III+ reactors built to the highest western standards. As Poland and other countries seek to deploy the AP1000 Southern Company will be a great source of insight on how to deliver successful new nuclear projects.

The end goal being over 308 tonnes of CO2 being removed per 1000 trees
