What difference do we make? The use of purposeful data and a focus on outcomes is needed to demonstrate what we do. How we do it. Why we do it. Government needs to think about outcomes - not targets, beds, widgets, and other system driven data needs that make no difference to the children, families and adults that we serve.
Tom Bowerman of Berry Street told a recent hearing of the inquiry into the collection of data related to people who use family violence in Victoria that we need to better allocate resources when it comes to tracking the impact of frontline services so we know what impact those services are having.
