Some important lessons I learned in the first day of the Lunar New Year: Your life is a journey and in that journey - You are not alone - Choose good paths to your destination and you will meet good companies to help you get to that destination more easily. - Don't carry unnecessary goods with you (there is always extra fees) - Appreciate every tool we use as they are products of time, knowledge and efforts of many people. - Cherish and live in harmony with those you met in journey. Destination is only there as a target. Trust the journey and enjoy every moment of it because that is life 💙

Today, as we welcome the Lunar New Year, I’m taking a moment for self-reflection—something the transition into a new year invites us all to do. Born in the Year of the Snake, I’ve been thinking about the characteristics tied to this zodiac sign—wisdom, resilience, strategic thinking—and how they shape the way I move through my work and life. Snakes are known for their ability to adapt, observe, and act with intention. I find myself leaning into these traits often—whether navigating challenges, fostering collaboration, or ensuring that meaningful connections turn into opportunities for impact. This year, I want to be even more mindful of how patience and persistence can create lasting change. The Year of the Snake symbolizes strength, transformation, and bold new beginnings. As I step into this year, I’m setting the intention to embrace change with courage and trust the path ahead. How are you using this time for reflection and growth? Wishing you all a Lunar New Year filled with renewal, wisdom, and opportunity!

Happy Chinese Lunar New Year! ✨ On January 29, 2025, we usher in the Year of the Wood Snake, a time of transformation, resilience, and wisdom. Rooted in centuries of tradition, Chinese New Year is a moment to reflect on the past, celebrate with loved ones, and welcome new opportunities with open hearts. The Snake, a symbol of intuition and grace, invites us to shed what no longer serves us—just as it sheds its skin—to make way for growth. Combined with the Wood element, this year emphasizes steady progress and creativity. It’s a time to nurture long-term visions, build meaningful connections, and approach challenges with strategy and purpose. Let the essence of the Wood Snake inspire you to move with intention, balance, and trust in your own instincts. Whether it’s in your relationships, career, or personal aspirations, this is the year to embrace transformation and step into your highest potential. As you gather with loved ones to honor this special occasion, may the celebrations fill your home with joy, prosperity, and hope for the year ahead. Here’s to a Lunar New Year filled with harmony, abundance, and meaningful growth. 新年快乐! May 2025 be your most inspiring and fulfilling year yet.

TLDR on Lunar New Year Celebration at Wells Fargo. Interesting facts. 1. Wed, Jan 29, 2025 is the start of new year according to the Lunar calendar, celebrated by many Asian cultures, not just Chinese. Why lunar calendar? Its seasonal events are much more accurate than the solar calendar. 2. 2025 is the year of the Snake according to the Chinese Zodiac. The snake represents calmness and introspection -- traits seen as important for "guiding one's life with wisdom and grace,". 3. I was born in the year of Rat (i.e. quick-witted, resourceful, versatile, kind..). Find yours here: https://lnkd.in/e42dAWKv 4. 'Eight' (八) in Chinese is pronounced ba and sounds similar to fa (发, traditional character: 發) as in facai (发财), meaning 'well-off'. Therefore, it is believed to be the luckiest number in China. Some are willing to pay premium to get lots of 8s in their license plates, phone numbers... are you one of them? 5. Celebrating the Chinese lunar calendar has been a Wells Fargo tradition since 1912. https://lnkd.in/eA7x3Miq.
For over 100 years, we’ve celebrated Lunar New Year with our customers and employees. This year, we're thrilled to partner with Victo Ngai to bring the Year of the Snake to life in a truly captivating way. Victo gave the Year of the Snake a lucky twist by illustrating a snake forming an infinity symbol—or the lucky number 8— representing eternal prosperity. The number 8 holds special significance in Chinese culture, as its pronunciation sounds like the words for wealth and prosperity. Learn more about the artist and her inspiration at https://lnkd.in/e46-gm6Z Here’s to a year filled with wisdom and endless possibilities. Happy Lunar New Year!

Tết is more than just the start of a new year. It’s a celebration of: 🌟 Reflection – Looking back on the year’s challenges, lessons, and successes. 🌟 Reconnection – Gathering with loved ones to honor traditions and share laughter. 🌟 Renewal – Welcoming fresh opportunities and dreams for the year ahead.
