One of the very first jobs I ever set-up with whiskered ceramic inserts on gray iron castings threw bright orange, perfectly formed comma shaped chips that were blue by the time they hit the CNC table perfectly carrying the heat away from the cut 👍
Just wondering what material, it was and hardness of the piece!! Depth of cut, rpm and feed......It looked like high feed milling type....
