The single best predictor of lifespan and healthspan is thought to be cardiorespiratory fitness ❤️ 🏃♀️ measured by VO2 max. 🤔 But what exactly is VO2 max and how do you find out what yours is? I decided to find out and to get my VO2 max tested in an exercise physiology lab. If you'd like to know what it was like, you can read about it in the latest edition of Extend. https://lnkd.in/gQDcR-54

Mine is on 41 and I’m super proud of that. It was stuck on 39 for two years…. 😎 there is strong correlation vo2 with longevity - however the belly button test or waist to hip test is prob more accurate as looks at visceral fat.

Looking forward to seeing how this work progresses! Have you read anything about "Zoe" in the UK? I think their approach to nutrition gels well with what you're doing here.

Excellent post Toni Moyes. I’ve considered testing my VO2 max before but I figured if I did it once I’d want to do it again and again just to see if I could improve it!

Thanks Toni - awesome insights and effort! This is a super interesting topic and I appreciate you sharing. ✊🤩
