All week we’ll be revisiting some of our favorite photo projects over the last 7 years to honor our launch anniversary! Today, we’re highlighting our very first custom photo project with Urban Indian Health Institute back in 2017. TONL teamed up with Abigail Echo-Hawk from UIHI with the purpose of more accurately depicting the American Indian/Alaska Native community in imagery through our collab titled “We Exist”. We loved how this photo project spoke directly to why we started TONL: better representation in imagery and storytelling of historically marginalized groups in media and advertising.
