In my opinion, Micromouse competitions represent a perfect nexus of engineering challenges. Over the past four decades, these events have featured a series of increasingly complex mazes, pushing engineers to explore and innovate in pathfinding techniques and micromouse optimizations, often as passionate hobbyists. With every challenge comes a wave of innovation, and nothing fuels creativity quite like friendly competition. From pioneering techniques—like executing a smooth corner turn—to mastering the navigation of diagonal corridors in straight lines, engineers have continuously sought improvement at every junction. As interest in machine learning surges, we may soon witness groundbreaking techniques that have yet to be imagined. The future of micromouse competitions is bright, and the possibilities are endless! https://lnkd.in/emY8DG6i

if you know, you know ' if we’re going to realize humanity’s destiny to reach out and unlock the mysteries of the universe, we are going to need a lot of inspired dreamers to join this grand endeavor. ' - jared isaacman, polaris dawn crew, spacewalker ;) what would you say as an official statement after spending 5 days travelling between 700 and 1400 km above the earth, at 25,000 kmh, after 2.5 years of training for 5 days of experiments and 15-16 sunrises/sunsets. consider this for a moment. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital was a huge benefactor with 100s of millions in donations. that's amazing. El Sistema USA® was given profile as we watched a live performance synchronizing violinist sarah gillis with orchestras in unison https://lnkd.in/eTG6JyJ3 a big ty to the 14,000+ SpaceX employees, the polaris team, et al. what struck me more than the thoughtful context, precision was this statement...' if we’re going to realize humanity’s destiny to reach out and unlock the mysteries of the universe, we are going to need a lot of inspired dreamers to join this grand endeavor. ' hmmm. what is our prime objective. where are those that are aligned. where is the greatest talent to work with. how to get there. how to participate. where to be included. in a moment where there were very very very few channels of communication, this type of an event... that is a crew in space...is special. and it would be on the front page of everything. we would be speaking about it. instead unless you happen to be a space/ai/design/tech geek you prob didn't hear about this. if the intention is to offer/create/develop/ensure life beyond our earth this statement is the most relevant in our eyes. capturing the imagination. studying that which was previously attempted. reaching a point of innovation. to support. assist. de-risk the dangers. grasp the adventure willingly. our perspective is that if we are simply creating a better mouse trap on earth, the stars will remain a dream. so when considering the abundance that (ai) purports will exist we wonder if indeed we are focussed on healthy prime objectives. or do we simply speed up the existing picture we have across our behaviours over time. jared represents such a healthy positive perspective. and that existed well before this space adventure. maybe we ought to consider this for a moment and work together on achieving this on earth first before we venture moreso to the stars. huh? source: https://lnkd.in/ekZ_kqB6 < . >

Earthlings.. I've been ruminating on some conversations from last week at NORTH51 Conference. If you have a bored or curious moment, wend your way with me through my thoughts -- ACCESS. I joined SkyFi to build something beautiful that can change the way we Earthlings make decisions. We are building access to Earth imagery and analytics so people can make strong decisions based on science, minimizing the influence of intellectual gatekeepers and ideologues. EDUCATION. Bill Perkins told a crowd last week that it is our responsibility at SkyFi to educate the market. If we take this task, our partners can focus on building the hardware and algorithms that I'm betting will be an enabling capability for every major decision in 15 years or less time - but only if we do our part. INVEST IN THE FUTURE OF THE INDUSTRY through collaboration. Our customers are not just enterprise, government, and the curious; they are often our partners too. Small analytic companies can purchase small amounts of data to train models. We provide anonymized customer feedback to big and small partners to sharpen their product. We are a node not just for aggregated and easy access for customers but also collaborative efforts with partners. I left my awesome job at In-Q-Tel (IQT) to join the amazing team at SkyFi to build something Earth-changing, and I intend to stay true to that objective -- in the most holistic way possible. Somewhere in my nautical education, I recall something about rising tides and such :) ⬆ ⛵

"War of #1812Project": "an alternative conclusion as to why these palaces are all over the world", because just before #Dec16_1811 we were advanced, since this moment in time, we've become devolved, more & more, day by day, after such a massive #Sungrazer #comet #C1811F1 had caused such destruction, destroyed so many cities, wiped away so much life, those in position further destroy our past, ridding advanced #technologies, changing functions, removing components, falsifying narratives, indoctrinating delusion... ...imagine the much healthier, much happier lifestyles, before instigation of conflicts, manipulation of reality, "dem pyramids isa graves", even though it's written in the name,.. took the mercury, took the helium, took the copper, took the gold,.. took our "time wealth, health, happiness", what should have been in gradeschool, took decades to restudy, relearn, reunderstand, as we were all lied to... ...yet, since putting this together, since making attempts at finding recognition, & even though there is no argument for what's currently in curriculum, no one has put forth any evidence contradicting these findings,.. ...it wasn't just some local quakes, caused by the NMSZ, it was an incredible #meteor impact... https://lnkd.in/eA8qG47 "How The West Was Won" ...& we have yet to return humanity to our previous position... +bring back our lost #Antiquitech+"find the truths behind the myths" https://lnkd.in/eBYyPEAW

Transformative Business Leader | CEO | Board Advisor | P&L Expert Driving Strategic Growth & Innovation | Harvard & MIT Alumnus
Witnessing the return of the Super Heavy booster rocket to its launch tower today was a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come in rethinking what’s possible. The idea of a rocket weighing 150,000 kg navigating its way back to a pinpoint landing, guided by mechanized arms, speaks to the incredible intersection of physics, systems engineering, and precise control mechanisms. This wasn’t just about space – it was about reimagining efficiency and pushing the limits of innovation. This is the type of leap that changes industries and reshapes what humanity can achieve. It’s about refining, iterating, and turning complex systems into elegant solutions. Truly exciting to think about the doors this opens for the future. Today wasn’t just a victory for space travel – it was a testament to where ingenuity can take us.

Aspiring Aerospace Professional | M.S. Space Systems '25 at Florida Tech 🚀 | AIAA Cape Canaveral Communications Chair ✨
Already 25% through this course and really enjoying it so far! Some of it is review from my Atmospheric Physics and Remote Sensing classes, but all of the spacecraft info is new to me, so I feel like I made a great choice to enroll! Looking forward to starting unit 2, which dives into Orbital Mechanics! This is what I've covered so far: 1.1. Synopsis 1.2. Review of Laws of Mechanics 1.3. Introduction to the near-space environment 1.4. Magnetic field and the Sun 1.5. Radiation environment 1.6. Orbital lifetimes, space debris, and Asteroid/comet collision threats #EPFLx #SpaceMissionDesign #SpaceSystems

I love learning, and I'm about to have a bit more time in my schedule after graduation, so I've decided to use that time to get ready for my Space Systems master's program in August. I just enrolled in EPFLx: Space Mission Design and Operations, an 8-week course from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology on edX - it sounds like a great course and I can't wait to get started! 🚀 ✨
