I grew up wearing clothes from Marks and Spencer - some of which were extremely dodgy! Platform shoes, green high waisted Oxford Bags, and a grey ribbed tank top!
My first suit was bought at M&S, and my second, and, most probably, my third.
But somewhere along the line the idea of buying something from Mark and Spencer, especially clothing, seemed to lose its appeal for me, my family and apparently, millions of others.
We had changed but it hadn’t!
