I believe it’s essential for construction companies to understand how technology & Artificial Intelligence are re-shaping our industry. I see a concerning number of construction companies who believe construction is isolated from the rapid technological advances happening in so many facets of our lives. This could not be further from the truth. Construction finds itself impacted by a growing reliance on the various types of technologies and software applications which help the industry run smoothly and efficiently (when properly applied). The companies that cannot (or will not) adapt and grow with the times are going to be left behind, plain and simple. Rather than seeing these changes as potential threats, I believe all construction companies should be looking for the best ways they can utilize these new tools to help their business run more efficiently. As we’ve all heard a million times – work smarter, not harder!
