There remain far too many stark disparities in health outcomes across populations. Driving awareness to close these gaps in underserved and marginalized communities is important, and action is needed to bring meaningful change. As we close out #MinorityHealthMonth, we stand with stakeholders across the health care industry to call for actions designed to promote more equitable, accessible health care delivery. • Incorporating the perspectives of individuals and community interventions. • Enhancing access to primary health care. • Establishing health care settings with cultural sensitivity. • Ensuring health information is easily understandable across different languages. • Promoting opportunities for a more diverse health care workforce.
