📢 AHLA Report: 76% of Hotels Facing Staffing Shortages! A recent survey by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) reveals a severe staffing crisis in the hotel industry. Here are the key highlights: Widespread Shortages: 76% of hotels report staffing shortages, with 13% severely understaffed. Critical Needs: Housekeeping is the top hiring need, with 50% of hotels prioritizing it. Increased Compensation: 86% of hotels have increased wages, 52% offer more flexible hours, and 33% have expanded benefits. Historic Opportunities: Higher pay, better perks, and improved flexibility for hotel employees.
