The Hutong Core Values In your professional life, what core value has impacted you the most? Way back when, at our second-ever strategic retreat, we hunkered down for two days and agreed upon our company’s six core values. Like our mission, these are as relevant today as they were back then. The Hutong crew is comprised of passionate individuals who embody our core values. And if you’ve ever been on a Hutong program, you’ve undoubtedly encountered them. They are:   Be A Good Egg Smile More Go The Extra 里 Seek Challenge Light a Spark Embrace Diversity   While these core values are fixed, their interpretation isn’t. On subsequent staff retreats, we workshopped our core values and realized that there were many different ways in which they were being interpreted. This is all right, as long as the gist remains. At the end of the day, these core values emphasize our commitment to fostering growth and creating an uplifting culture and work environment. They act as guiding beacons in making sense of all the fuzz, and in making sound decisions as we move forward. We live them, we breathe them, and we sprinkle them around.

Reaching out to solutions, networking with people, and finding the right way are some of the options. It’s easier to reach out to those who may have a solution or those who can point you a direction. It may not be a direct solution, it may take many points before you get the solution and many a times it is a combination of those points that give you the total solution. "Please get some rest", a sweet message from my leader, this morning. It is 1st May, the #Labour's Day, and a public holiday in Malaysia. I have been on my laptop since morning, by choice.
