Safety is such an important aspect of any business, that has to be positioned at the core with ESG, and should essentially be ensured by the top leadership. Corporates are though moving positively in that direction. AI’s contribution, gonna be vital in this field. I feel, ESG should be redefined as ESSG (i.e, Environment, Social, Safety & Governance).

Know how long a fire extinguisher will last 🚒🔥 It pays to be aware that the safety of one of your crew members could be jeopardized while fighting a fire if he or she doesn’t know how long a fire extinguisher will keep working. Because the length of time an extinguisher can continue to fight a fire depends on the model type and the weight of the unit, it makes sense to periodically review with your staffers the capacity of the extinguishers in your work area. For instance, a 10-to 20- pound dry chemical fire extinguisher will last anywhere from 10 to 25 seconds ⏳👨🚒 ^^ From the May 20th issue of Safety Alert for Supervisors.
