Company culture should be the beating heart of any organisation. It’s always hard to verbalise what that looks like in everyday life, but over the years at Touch we have tried to pull out the characteristics that we want our teams to live and breathe at work. We call these our BE values. BE Courageous, Kind, a Champion, Inspiring, You, Trusted and Unexpected. Every year we open up the floor to nominations for our BE Awards, who at Touch has shown outstanding examples of any of our values and why? An opportunity for us to raise each other up and give some well deserved praise. We couldn’t be happier to see how people have turned up to recognise their colleagues this year, and we can’t wait to see who they’ve voted as their overall winners at our ‘The BEAT’ conference and awards later this month. #CompanyCulture #WorkplaceAwards #EmployeeAppreciation

One of my greatest joys was strategically instigating ways for the company to support Pride Month both internally and externally. That's right, I said instigating. The results were closely tied to my job description, but the accountability for the actions needed went beyond my formal scope of work. So I took on the role of the instigator. Why you need an instigator in the workplace: Drive Change: Instigators identify areas for improvement and take proactive steps to implement new ideas and solutions. Spark Innovation: They bring fresh perspectives and creative approaches to problem-solving. Challenge the Status Quo: Instigators question existing practices and encourage others to think differently. Inspire Action: Their enthusiasm and determination motivate colleagues to step out of their comfort zones. Build Connection: They foster human connections and cross-functional collaboration. Break Down Barriers: Instigators help break down organizational silos and promote a more cohesive work environment. My intent in taking on the role of an instigator for Pride Month was driven by my understanding of the staff's desires and the organization's vision of supporting its employees and external community. Although I didn't have the final approval power, I knew who did. And voilà! Instigators play a crucial role in driving meaningful change and fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace. By taking on this role, I was able to help align our efforts with both internal values and external commitments, making Pride Month a truly impactful and celebrated occasion. What are you doing to make this month and every month impactful for your staff and the communities you serve? #culturetransformation #instigators #DEI #changemanagement #PrideMonth

Our amazing colleague, Djordje Repasic, has been honored as "Colleague of the Year" for exemplifying the value of personal responsibility. 🎉Don't miss the short interview where he shares his insights!✨ 1. What does personal responsibility mean to you, and why is it important in the workplace? Personal responsibility is not letting others down, keeping things from going downhill and not waiting for others to put out the fire. Being an adult. If you don't take control, who will? In the work environment, this means that everyone recognizes their role and does not run away from responsibility, but also from making unpleasant decisions. With a responsible attitude towards work, you also give your colleagues the certainty that they can rely on you, and it improves efficiency and productivity when the feeling is mutual. 2. How do you foster a culture of responsibility within your team or department? Through transparent communication. It is important to be on the same page. I provide regular feedback and support so team members can learn from my experiences as well as their own mistakes and grow as professionals. With greater knowledge comes greater self-confidence, i.e. self-confidence in one's work, which will be felt by both colleagues and clients. I show with my actions how important it is to take the initiative. And of course, I'm always there to support my colleagues when needed. 3. What advice would you give to colleagues who want to enhance responsibility within their own teams? If I were to give advice to colleagues on how to develop responsibility within their teams, I would tell them to be like that friend who always keeps his word. Define common goals and expectations, encourage team members to take initiative and make decisions independently, but always be there to help if they get stuck. If the experience is good, next time they will be more comfortable to take on new challenges. And finally, don't forget to show your appreciation and celebrate successes together, because responsibility is like a baton in a relay race - everyone has to pass it on.🌟 #galaxuslife

Today is my birthday, and I want to express my deep gratitude for all the warm wishes and congratulations I have received. Speaking of celebrations, I would like to share some thoughts on why it is so important to take the time to celebrate successes, both in our professional and personal lives. Celebrating achievements is not just fun – it is also crucial for both personal and professional development. When we take the time to celebrate our accomplishments, big or small, we create a positive work environment that fosters motivation and engagement. Here are a few reasons why celebrating is essential: ☀Increased Motivation: Acknowledging successes, whether it’s a completed project or a personal milestone, gives us a sense of satisfaction and drives us to continue striving for new goals. ☀Improved Team Morale: Celebrations foster a sense of camaraderie and strengthen team cohesion. Sharing joy and recognition with colleagues helps build stronger relationships and a more supportive work environment. ☀Recognition of Hard Work: Celebrating is a way to show appreciation for the dedication and effort that individuals and teams put in. This recognition can be a powerful motivator, leading to increased loyalty and productivity. ☀Encourages Creativity: A positive work environment where achievements are celebrated encourages creativity and innovation. When people feel valued and recognized, they are more likely to contribute new ideas and solutions. ☀Strengthens Organizational Culture: Regularly celebrating achievements helps shape and strengthen a positive organizational culture. This, in turn, can attract and retain talent, which is crucial for long-term success. So, let’s take the time to celebrate our achievements, both big and small. It’s not just a way to enjoy the moment, but also an investment in our future success. 🎉 #success #motivation #teammorale #workenvironment #organizationalculture

𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞? It may be that they’re afraid to speak up, They don’t want the limelight, They’re unsure when and how to get their ideas across. Recently, I was in a business chatting about this very thing. The team examined their company values, each assessing where they stood, and how they could work them into the day-to-day. We came up with several ways for the team to live them out. One method is where staff acknowledge (openly or anonymously) another team member who is living out team values and therefore creating the desired team culture. They might be acknowledged with a written note, a small gift, an award or even a trophy. Imagine what that recognition could do for the individual team member’s confidence, demeanour and overall contribution. Nothing beats feeling seen, heard and valued. Take your team members from reluctant participants to thriving and engaged employees. —----------------- I teach people the skills they need to thrive at work with The Confidence Code. Celebrating Gratitude At Continental International Group we believe that a positive company culture is key to our success, and it all starts with recognizing the incredible contributions of our teams. Can you believe that we have a Digital Gratitude Wall?! This initiative allows all employees to express their appreciation or share their gratitude on any subject. It’s more than just words on a wall, it’s a reflection of how seriously our management takes fostering a supportive environment. When employees feel valued, their impact on the company's performance is undeniable. This is just one of the many ways we’re building a culture where each person’s role is recognized and appreciated. What do you think? Does your company have something similar? Would love to hear your thoughts! #CompanyCulture #Gratitude #Teamwork #EmployeeEngagement #cfsgroup

Celebrating Every Effort: The Power of Team Spirit 🌟🤝 In our fast-paced, achievement-driven world, we often find ourselves gravitating towards the "Outstanding Performer"—the individual who stands out in a sea of talent. While recognizing excellence is important, it's equally vital to appreciate the hard and sincere efforts of each team member. After all, success isn't built on the shoulders of a single star but on the collective strength and dedication of the entire team. 🔹 Every Effort Counts 🔹 Why do we always need to highlight the top performer? Is it because we believe that only the exceptional achiever is successful? This mindset can overshadow the valuable contributions of others who work just as hard, if not harder, towards our shared goals. Each individual in a team brings unique strengths and perspectives, and it's these diverse qualities that fuel innovation and progress. 🔹 Fostering a Positive Work Culture 🔹 Imagine a workplace where every effort, no matter how small, is recognized and celebrated. A place where sincerity, dedication, and small initiatives are acknowledged. This is the kind of environment that fosters true team spirit—a culture where appreciation isn't reserved for the top 10% but is extended to everyone who contributes. 🔹 Beyond Comparison 🔹 Comparison often breeds competition, which can be detrimental to team morale. Instead of comparing, let's focus on collaboration. Let's get together for a common goal, driven by team spirit. Each person is unique, with special qualities that make them indispensable to the team. By recognizing and celebrating these qualities, we create a healthy, positive work environment. 🔹 Join Hands for a Difference 🔹 Let's start a movement to appreciate every effort, no matter how small. Let's celebrate the positive, healthy work culture where recognition isn't about being the best but about doing your best. Together, we can make a difference, one sincere effort at a time. 🌟 Team Spirit 🌟 Team Work 🌟 Healthy Working Environment 🌟 #TeamSpirit #TeamWork #PositiveCulture #HealthyWorkEnvironment #CelebrateEveryEffort #Appreciation #Recognition #NoComparison #TogetherWeCan #CollectiveStrength #WorkplaceWellbeing Thank you to all the incredible individuals who put in their hard and sincere efforts every day. You are the true champions of our success! 🏆✨ 😀

A diverse and inclusive work environment brings out the best in people and highlights their strengths. This will obviously lead to a more successful company. A DE+I culture can lead to a more productive, innovative, and inclusive workplace that benefits both employees and the organization. 🌐 I was very surprised, but also grateful for the honor of being nominated by my colleagues for the DE+I Awards and being one of the winners. 🏆 I am an advocate for open communication, active listening, and empathy among employees. We need to have more training that helps employees understand and appreciate different perspectives, cultures, and experiences. I try to be a good example myself. 🌟 When team members feel valued, respected, and included, they are more likely to be engaged and committed to their work, making it easier to achieve our goals. A diverse team brings a variety of perspectives and experiences to the table, which can lead to more creative and innovative ideas. 🚀 My advice to others who want to follow a more inclusive path is to be open to learning from colleagues with different backgrounds and perspectives. Listen actively, ask questions, and seek to understand their experiences and points of view. 🌈
