We’re still feeling the highs after our company conference and awards last week, when the winners of our BE Awards were revealed. This year we introduced the Magnificent Rookie Award, recognising up and coming talent in the agency, and our Magnificent All Rounder baton was passed on to the wonderful Molly Philpott. Molly has had a truly magnificent 2023, where she tackled numerous complex events in her own unflappable style, was promoted to a Senior Project Manager taking on additional responsibilities for her team and became a C&IT Agency A-Lister. On top of this Molly Philpott truly embodies ALL of our BE values and is our ultimate Culture Queen. Congratulations to all of our winners! #CompanyCulture #WorkplaceAwards #EmployeeAppreciation

👏 Appreciating the Unsung Heroes of Our Team 👏 In the world of work, it's easy to focus on the shining stars, the award-winners, and the top performers. But today, I want to shine a light on the unsung heroes in our organization. They may not always win client awards or hit 100% of their targets, but they consistently excel in areas that might not be as flashy but are equally critical. These are the team members who show up, day in and day out, with unwavering commitment. ✨ They prioritize attendance, setting a reliability standard for the team. ✨ They meet deadlines consistently, ensuring projects flow seamlessly. ✨ They proactively address their subordinates' concerns, fostering a supportive culture. ✨ They excel in unquantifiable areas, bringing a unique value to the table. These individuals are the backbone of our success. Just as we celebrate our high achievers, it's crucial to recognize and appreciate those who provide stability, reliability, and a positive work environment. Let's remember that recognition isn't a one-size-fits-all approach. Everyone on the team plays a vital role, and it's time we acknowledge and appreciate those who consistently make our workplace better. Take a moment to tag and express gratitude to the unsung heroes from your team who contribute to making your organization great in the comments 🙌 #AppreciateYourTeam #RecognizeExcellence

Celebrating Our Everyday Heroes 🌟 Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate some very special people in our company — the ones who often work quietly behind the scenes but whose impact is felt everywhere. Imagine how powerful it is to work in a place where everyone feels appreciated, no matter their role or title. It’s a place where people are motivated not just by their paycheck but by the feeling that they are part of something bigger, that their work is making a difference. That’s the kind of culture we should all strive to build — one where recognition is not just a formality but a heartfelt expression of gratitude. Recognition isn’t just about giving credit where it’s due — it’s about truly seeing and appreciating the individuals who make our company what it is. When we take the time to acknowledge the efforts of our non-management team members, we’re not just boosting morale; we’re showing them that their contributions matter, that they are valued, and that they are essential to our success. So, here’s to the people who show up every day with dedication and drive, who put their heart into their work, and who help us achieve our goals. Your efforts might not always be in the spotlight, but they are deeply valued and appreciated. Thank you for everything you do. 💙👏 Let’s continue to celebrate each other and make our workplace a place where everyone’s contributions are recognized and cherished. 🌟 Excited to share my incredible experience at Regis' Leadership day with a focus on Diversity and Inclusion! 🌈 Some awesome guest speakers and thought provoking discussion. 🏆 I even had the honor of winning the trivia contest, alongside the fabulous Drag Queen Sasha Starr. What a blast! 😄🏆 For me, diversity and inclusion also embodies equity: 🌟 Diversity: Celebrating our Differences 🌟 Inclusion: Amplifying Every Voice 🌟 Equity: Ensuring Fair Opportunities Why is it important?: ✅ It levels the playing field, addressing past disadvantages. ✅ Fair practices nurture diverse talents, leading to better outcomes. ✅ Equity unites our team, emphasising that every contribution matters. ✅ With an equitable approach, we embrace diverse perspectives, igniting fresh ideas and innovative solutions. ✅ Equity ensures a multitude of voices, shielding us from groupthink. ✅ In environments that value fairness, we engage in open conversations, breaking free from echo chambers and mundane thinking. ✅ By incorporating equity, we prioritise thoughtful decision-making over hasty choices. Proud to work for Regis and with such an AWESOME team, let's continue to champion diversity, inclusion, and equity in all that we do at work! #InclusionMatters #RegisLeadership2023

When the going got tough, three of us didn't just step up; we stood shoulder to shoulder, creating a formidable cover that shielded us from challenges. sometimes,we just feel we dont get an appreciation for our hard work, remember this: Our work matters, and it speaks for itself. The absence of recognition doesn't diminish the significance of our contributions. #hrteam #teammotivation #teamappreciation

This Women’s History Month, we had the pleasure of connecting with Kate Knecht, the General Manager at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh - Cranberry. A seasoned hotelier, Kate has worked in the hospitality industry for over a decade and has served with Remington Hospitality for over two years. Not only is Kate the first female General Manager at her hotel, but she consistently exceeds our aggressive hotel goals and plays a critical role in ensuring the overall success of the property. Learn more about Kate and the women who made a lasting impact on her life. 💡 Who is the most influential woman in your life? How does she inspire you? Kate: Extending far beyond a single woman, inspirational women have been a part of my journey since childhood. From women I became intrinsically tied to in college to the amazing women I collaborate with every day at work, their steadfast support and guidance have been instrumental in molding me into the devoted mother and resilient leader I am today. 📽 When you think back over your life and everything you’ve accomplished, what moment stands out that makes you proud of yourself? Kate: In the professional realm, my proudest achievement is becoming the first female to attain the title of General Manager in the 36-year history of the DoubleTree Pittsburgh - Cranberry. On a scale of 0 (horrible) to 10 (almost heaven), how would you rate the culture of your team? How would your team members rate it? If there's a big difference in these perspectives, you have some work to do. Create a plan that improves the culture of your organization so people are genuinely inspired every day. It may be wise to have someone like a coach, coworker, boss, or another voice of reason to regularly ask you hard questions. Make sure you actually answer them and do whatever it takes to improve your culture! Celebrating and recognizing our team's accomplishments is an important part of our culture ADDO Worldwide. Here's an example of how our team celebrated a major milestone last year 🍾

A dedicated employee named Sarah worked in a software company. She was passionate about her job and always strived to do her best. Sarah's hard work and commitment to excellence caught the attention of her colleagues and supervisors. One day, the company announced a prestigious "Employee of the Year" award, recognizing outstanding contributions and performance. Sarah was excited and hopeful about being recognized for her efforts. She worked even harder, putting in extra hours to ensure she stood out among her peers. As the award day approached, Sarah's anticipation grew, and she could almost feel the trophy in her hands. However, when the winner's name was announced on the award ceremony day, it wasn't Sarah's. She felt disappointed and defeated as she watched another colleague, John, receive the honour. Feeling disheartened, Sarah approached her manager to inquire about the decision. Her manager smiled and said, "Sarah, your dedication and hard work are commendable. You shine like a star in this company. However, there's more to being a valuable employee than just winning awards." Puzzled, Sarah asked, "What do you mean?" Her manager explained, "While John received the award for a specific project's success, you have consistently shown your dedication, teamwork, and support for your colleagues. You have been a shining star in the office during the award season and daily. Your commitment and positive attitude inspire others and create a great work environment." Sarah realized the truth in her manager's words. She understood that her value as an employee wasn't solely dependent on awards, but on the impact she made through her consistent efforts and contributions. From that day on, Sarah continued to work hard and be a team player, knowing that her efforts made a difference, no matter how small. She started encouraging and supporting her colleagues, creating a positive atmosphere in the workplace. In time, her dedication and leadership caught the attention of higher management. Though she didn't receive an award that year, Sarah knew that her star would continue to shine bright, illuminating the path for others. Moral: Being a valuable employee is not just about winning awards or recognition; it's about consistently contributing, supporting others, and inspiring positive change in the workplace. Your efforts may only sometimes be rewarded immediately, but they are recognized and appreciated in the long run. #fridayvibes #leadership #coaching #consistency #hardwork #appreciation #valuecreation

🌟Overcoming Challenges and Embracing Growth🌟 Yesterday, I had the privilege of giving a short DE&I Update during the Front Porch to my incredible colleagues at Marsh McLennan Agency - Northwest. As the NW Region DE&I Council Communications Chair, part of my role is to help foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels empowered to bring their whole selves to work. With that in mind, I opened my update with a piece of vulnerability: I have a profound fear of public speaking. Sweaty palms, frantic fidget toy under the table, head swimming level fear. I’ll even admit, when I was first asked to do the update, I frantically shook my head and gave a very decisive “No”. Like many others, I’ve spent many years listening to the little voice in the back of my head that said that those nerves meant I was doing something I wasn’t good at. Yesterday, I challenged that cognitive distortion and reminded myself that its not about being “good” or “bad” at something; it’s about embracing what scares me, challenging myself to grow, and utilizing the platform I was given to reset the stigma that those in leadership positions need to be rigid or separate from their colleagues. It’s not about being flawless; it’s about being authentic and vulnerable, and creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable doing the same. What truly touched my heart was the outpouring of support and encouragement I received from my colleagues. Without any thought, their genuine expressions of support and kind words created a bubble of psychological safety that I could only dream of seeing with any of my previous employers. Thank you to each and every one of you who took the time to offer your encouragement and kudos. I am grateful for the incredible team at Marsh McLennan Agency - Northwest who continuously uplift and empower one another. Let’s continue to embrace challenges, celebrate growth, and create a future where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Together, we are breaking down barriers. #DEI #InclusionMatters #PsychologicalSafety #GrowthMindset
