Exciting News! I am thrilled to announce the publication of my latest article, “Tips for Endoscopic #Cancer #Ablation,” in GIE: Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, VideoGIE, and iGIE. In this article, I delve into advanced techniques and best practices for endoscopic cancer ablation, offering valuable insights for practitioners in the field. I cover key strategies to enhance the importance of #multidisciplinary decisions when considering these procedures, ensuring better outcomes for #oncology patients. A huge thank you to American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and the journal for this opportunity. Our understanding of #cancerablation is still in its infancy and as our understanding of #genomic diversity of cancer, the tumor microenvironment and the #immune impact of ablation grows the importance of ablation is likely to grown. The desire for #organpreservation is another driver. Please share your opinion on this issue🙏 #Gastroenterology #Endoscopy #CancerAblation #MedicalResearch #HealthcareInnovation #ProfessionalAchievement

Fantastic overview of current approaches to GI cancer care. Outlining ablation modalities and current research provides a very nice snapshot of the landscape of options available for Gastroenterologists to provide to their patients. I especially liked your reference to potentially adopting more aggressive surveillance post clinical complete response that mirrors BE surveillance guidelines. Thank you for your hard work in this new field of Endoscopic Oncology.

Well done, Toufic Kachaamy MD FASGE AGAF FACG on your insightful publication on the advancements in ablative technologies for GI endoscopy. It was a pleasure discussing Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) with you at DDW, and I am hopeful that PFA will soon establish itself as a safe and effective ablation modality for GI endoscopy. Its precision, safety, ability to preserve tissue, and potential to positively affect the immune micro-environment are promising. Here’s to helping more patients with these innovative treatments!
