🚨 Now accepting applications for the next round of Tourism and Cultural Arts Grants! 🚨
Visit Eau Claire, supported by the City of Eau Claire and the WISCONSIN ARTS BOARD, is now welcoming applications for the next round of its semi-annual Tourism and Cultural Arts Grant programs, designed to foster local events and enrich the region's cultural offerings.
🧳 Tourism Grants: Boosting Events and Overnight Stays
The Tourism Grants are aimed at stimulating tourism growth in the Eau Claire area through events that attract overnight guests or extend visitor stays. Eligible projects include new and expanding festivals, sports tournaments, conventions, and special events that have a direct impact on hotel stays in the Chippewa Valley. Grants can be used to support marketing efforts, including advertising, printing, and mailing costs.
🎨 Cultural Arts Grants: Celebrating Creativity and Heritage
The Cultural Arts Grants support initiatives that enrich the community's appreciation of arts and culture. Applicants may propose projects involving performing arts, visual media, literary arts, folk art, festivals, local history, artist series, cultural programs for K-12 students, cultural traditions, or public art installations. Funding can be applied to any expense tied to a program that fosters artistic expression or enhances cultural appreciation for residents.
🏟️ Convention/Sports Funding Support
Visit Eau Claire also offers a number of complementary event services and funding for convention and sport organizations to not only attract and secure their event, but also support their efforts in hosting a successful event in Eau Claire. Please reach out to sales@visiteauclaire.com to inquire about this funding.
✍️ How to Apply
Grant applications are reviewed biannually in April and November by a committee at Visit Eau Claire. The deadline for this round is November 15, 2024.
Interested organizations can find application materials and detailed guidelines on the Visit Eau Claire website: https://lnkd.in/gjPWYdVu. Applicants not selected for a grant will still receive assistance from Visit Eau Claire to help promote their events to potential visitors.
