Going on a safari doesn't have to be expensive. If you are on a tight budget; 1.Off-peak season is your friend. →Prices drop significantly. Wildlife is still there and crowds are fewer. 2.Camping safaris are an option. →You'll be closer to nature and it's much cheaper than luxury lodges. 3. Group travel cuts costs. →More people, less cost per person. 4.Consider shorter trips. →A 5-day safari can be just as rewarding as a 10-day trip. It's about the quality of the experience, not the length. Remember, the key to a budget-friendly safari is planning ahead and making smart choices. Please reshare with your network♻️

Happy National Take A Hike Day!! 🥾🗻⛺️ Today, we celebrate the joys and challenges of getting out into nature and taking a hike. Every November 17th marks national take a hike day. Taking hikes is a great way to get into nature. Researching native species around the area you live in and going out to spot them can make hiking all the more exciting. Remember to gather the right supplies! Water and hiking shoes not only make the trip more comfortable but also safer. If you’re here in Southern California, be aware of the following three: - Mountain Lions: If you ever encounter one, experts say to appear big and face them! Make a lot of noise if they approach. - Coyotes: Experts say to follow the same protocol as mountain lions. - Snakes: start stomping your feet to create vibrations in the ground and wait until they move. Never approach them. Though it might feel strange to fight the urge to run, mountain lions and coyotes use this signal from other animals to recognize prey. So stand your ground, big and loud until they go away. The United States has over 60,000 miles of hiking trails so make use of them! Comment with your favorite hike! ✨ Unveiling the Mystery: Why Walking Safaris Are Less Popular🚶♀️🐘 Discover the Three Key Reasons in Our Latest Blog Post! 🌿
🌿 Why Aren't Walking Safaris as Popular? 🤔 Although many travelers head to Africa annually for a safari experience and to spot the 'Big 5', walking safaris are less known. But why is that exactly? 🧐 ✨ Here are three possible reasons: 1. Unfamiliarity: Firstly, walking safaris are still unknown to many people, and they don't know what to expect 🤷♀️ 2. Comfort: Many travelers prioritize comfort over actively walking in nature but may not have discovered how enriching and exciting a walking safari can be 🤩 3. Safety Concerns: Some are hesitant to walk in areas where wild animals live due to safety concerns. However, with the knowledge and experience of the guides and a clear safety briefing beforehand, you don't need to worry about safety 😇 ✨Why haven't you done a walking safari yet? Let us know in the comments! 💚 Ps. I've written a Blog about this topic, check it out on my website 😎 https://lnkd.in/dNmnp_73

10 Day Gorilla Trekking. Exploring the Wonders of Gorilla Trekking: Best Seasons to Experience This Unique Adventure Gorilla trekking is an extraordinary wildlife experience that allows adventurers to observe mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. This activity primarily takes place in the dense forests of East Africa, particularly in countries like Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Trekking to see these magnificent creatures not only offers a chance to witness their behavior up close but also contributes to conservation efforts and local communities. #### What to Expect During Gorilla Trekking Participants typically embark on guided treks through lush, mountainous terrain, which can be physically demanding. Treks can last anywhere from a few hours to a full day, depending on the location of the gorilla family being tracked. Once you reach the gorillas, you are usually allowed to spend a limited amount of time observing them, which can be a truly unforgettable experience. #### Best Seasons for Gorilla Trekking The best time for gorilla trekking largely depends on the region you choose to visit: 1. **Uganda**: The dry seasons, from June to August and December to February, are considered the best times for trekking. During these months, the trails are less muddy, making the trek easier and more enjoyable. 2. **Rwanda**: Similar to Uganda, the dry seasons from June to September and December to February are ideal for gorilla trekking. The weather is generally more favorable, and the chances of encountering the gorillas are higher. 3. **Democratic Republic of the Congo**: The best time for trekking in Virunga National Park is during the dry months, which are typically from June to September and December to February. However, conditions can vary, so it's advisable to check local weather patterns. In summary, while gorilla trekking can be done year-round, planning your trip during the dry seasons will enhance your experience by providing better trekking conditions and increased chances of successful gorilla encounters. Whether you are an avid wildlife enthusiast or simply seeking a unique adventure, gorilla trekking offers a profound connection to nature and the opportunity to support conservation efforts.#bonobosafricansafariholidays #holiday #holidayseason #adventure #adventuretime #vacation #vacationmode #tour #touroftheworld #travel #traveloftheworld
