Delighted to share that I received a Certificate of Appreciation for participating in the Masked Mind Public Policy Debate Competition alongside my teammate Shreyesh Reddy The competition was organized by Public Policy and Governance Society, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kharagpur , and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have honed my debate skills and learned from such a prestigious institution. Our team made it to the 3rd round, and I'm proud of the progress we made. "From this debate, I learned two important lessons. Firstly, how to conduct a good debate, and secondly, how to understand public policies. As my team was in the negative role, the main challenge was understanding how the policy impacts people. To identify the negative aspects of any policy, it's essential first to understand its positive points. This comprehensive understanding allows for a better evaluation of the policy." "Success lies in doing what others find difficult. The harder the challenge, the greater the growth." As I look back on my time with Cohort 8 at the Gopalakrishnan-Deshpande Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (GDC), IIT Madras, the memories come rushing back. It’s been a few months since that incredible journey, but the lessons and experiences remain vivid. Completing Cohort 8 at GDC, IIT Madras, has been an exhilarating journey—a testament to the fact that doing difficult things gives us the motivation to push further. The Gopalakrishnan-Deshpande Centre, in collaboration with leading STEM universities, runs the innovative ‘Lab to Market’ mission, turning research into impactful market solutions. This 4-week journey wasn’t just about learning; it was about growing through challenges, with amazing mentors guiding every step of the way.  Out of 8 teams selected, only 7 managed to complete the cohort, highlighting the intensity and rigor of the program. The invaluable lessons learned, both technical and personal, will remain with us for life, proving that perseverance in the face of difficulty unlocks the greatest rewards. _"Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations."_ The journey may have been tough, but the insights gained are worth every challenge faced! #GDCINDUCT #IITMADRAS #medtech #IITJ
