"Bank of the Kid" - a term I saw in an article the other day. Great idea, specifically focused on financial literacy for high school students. It referenced all the adults who have reported wishing they had a course in high school. Great in theory, but I'm genuinely curious, am I the only person who knows I would have benefited from this kind of course, but also KNOWS that high school me would never have listed to one of my teachers tell me what to do with the $200 I earned at my summer job? How do we teach finanical literacy to people whose long term executive function and understanding of the consequences of said planning won't be developed for another 10 years? Or am I just outing myself as a difficult teenager? #Financialliteracy #Development #richdadpoordad
