Books open a doorway to a brighter future, but does every child own this key? In order to claim ownership of this key, we resolved numerous issues in the villages of Maharashtra. We identified the pressing problem of high drop-out rates in some of the most impoverished and disadvantaged villages. In response to this issue, Traceable Giving Foundation launched the ‘Books for Change’ initiative. To tackle the high drop-out rates and ensure that students in Grade 9 and 10 have access to a complete set of syllabus-based books. These community-operated schools often face challenges in providing necessary resources, but we’re rewriting that story. Under our 'Books for Change' initiative, every student was given a full set of official textbooks, providing them with the tools for a promising future.
