The United Kingdom is the canary in the coalmine of multiculturalism. After decades of celebrating diversity and pushing aggressively for DEI, the violence of the Pro-Palestine movement has inspired unprecedented calls for reversing these policies. Far from protecting and advancing the rights of minorities, progressive intransigence has helped give fuel to powerful right wing actors who can now (rightly) demand an end to these policies, and (more dangerously) call for rebuilding the West into White/ Christian nations. Minorities in the West are far more insecure now because of the Progressive/ Left's pro-immigration, pro-diversity policies, though I don't expect these groups to change.  https://lnkd.in/gnw6ENe5
