I have found over the years that it is much easier for someone to process through their items if I bring all of them to a table, one theme at a time. Rather than walking through their house and pointing at things asking them if they want it or need it. Here we are doing a small bathroom shared by a husband and wife. VERY little storage (just under the sink) so we put A items on the counter(toothbrushes) B items in the top drawers(lotions, nail clippers) & C items under the sink (extra TP, cotton balls). Then we created a “store” for backstock items in the hall closet (doubles of anything they buy in bulk, ie toothpaste, sunscreen). This keeps the bathroom space limited to only items that they are actually using, keep them accessible from the items they use the most to the least, and gets any duplicates out of the space and into the household “store”. Anytime they go shopping they will look in the “store” first to see if they already have items that they are running low on in their A space. Sorry for the novel 🤷🏻♂️ #backstock #organizingtips #organizedhome #befreemethod #declutter #tidy #organizingsystems #cleaningtips

Are you thinking of adding a grab bar outside your shower or bathtub to assist as you step in or step out dripping wet? That is a GREAT idea! Installing a VERTICAL grab bar where you enter and exit the shower or bath will provide a sturdy place to hold as you make the step. If there are multiple height people in the house, select a grab bar that will put everyone’s hand within easy reach of the grab bar. #grabrails #grabbars #aginginplace #bathroom4all #InclusiveDesign #safeshower Read the article and watch the video 👇

New product: 1953 Dunhill Root Briar ODA 834 Smooth Prince Estate Briar Pipe, English Estates To veteran pipe smokers, Dunhill needs no introduction. Beginning in 1907, Alfred Dunhill began selling Dunhill pipes at the tobacconist shop he owned on London’s Duke Street. Very quickly, these pipes gained the reputation of being the ‘Rolls-Royce’ of pipes due to how expertly crafted they were. Today, Dunhill is likely Britain’s most famous pipe manufacturer, and continues to produce some of the most treasured pipes a smoker can buy. The “OD” pipes are some of the rarest Dunhills around (or, at least, those that are still around), and as such are of particular interest for collectors. It is hypothesized that the letters “OD” stood for “own design,” being distinct from the typical shape chart Dunhill used. In the case of post-war ODs, like this one, a letter was added indicating the pipe’s grade (here, “A”), and a three-digit shape code was added. This one is an 834 prince shape, though it is a rare example of a magnum-sized post-war OD, as according to Dunhill historian John Loring, ODs from this period were more often much smaller pipes, and therefore more in line with Dunhill’s standard output. In Dunhill’s own terms, this would have been a “semi-giant” prince. The condition is great. There’s some darkening and finish fading on the rim, and one spot on the inner lip of the chamber that has come slightly out of round, but nevertheless this patent era OD has been preserved remarkably. The last thing that should be mentioned is that this Dunhill does not have its original inner tube, as is often the case with Dunhill pipes. Details: Length: 7.2″ / 182.8mm Bowl Width: 0.94 / 23.87mm Bowl Depth: 1.07″ / 27.17mm Weight: 2.8oz / 82g 👉🏽👉🏽Pipe Link: https://nuel.ink/w97YTv #pipesmoking #pipes #tobaccopipe #pipesmoker #pipetobacco #tobacco #smokingpipe #briarpipe #briar #smoking #pipemaker #pipecollector #artisanpipes #mbsd

Spruce up your home this fall without breaking the bank! Here are some simple ways to bring all the fall feels into your home: 1) Pumpkins and gourds are the easiest and most inexpensive fall addition. There are so many sizes and colours available! 2) Check your backyard or a park for pinecones and acorns. 3) Hay bales and corn stalks are usually available at farmers markets or roadside stands and are a great way to decorate your porch! 4) Purchase one fall-scented candle to make your home smell like fall. Or you can heat some cinnamon up in the oven on a baking sheet! Or you can actually bake cookies 😂 5) Look up DIY ideas on Pinterest with items you may already own. #falldecor #falldesign #fallhome #homefalldecor #homedecortips
