A long time ago, I thought that a simple product or idea didn't need an onboarding process. And I was wrong. The carpooling idea is very simple: 1. Make a feasibility survey to determine how many drivers and passengers you can expect 2. Check peoples' locations for potential connections 3. Gather people around and show them the benefits coming from a carpool program 4. Give them a tool where they will be able to request a lift or create a ride. After dozens of implementations, I can't disagree more. Maybe it's simple, but it's not easy. The magic "X" factor is the people's engagement, as I wrote previously here: https://lnkd.in/dhaqmEGQ Therefore, the onboarding training session is mandatory, even if it looks simple. Even if you think, that people will be engaged, because they tell you so. While introducing a carpooling program, remember to schedule at least one session where you explain how to use the tool you gave them. Do you have a similar approach?

It's time for old trains to retire and move to train depot, and be replaced by the new fleet. If you happened to build both, it gets both nostalgic and satisfying! And this is what took place today with our legacy Rail products: game changer when created more than a decade ago, serving our customers and being operationally maintained by Rail team since then, now finally fully replaced with the new, modernized and enhanced platform. Greetings and kudos to all the people involved in building and supporting both over the years, most of you still carrying the unique Railway worker identity (manifesting itself e.g. in specific Teams backgrounds...) regardless of where you are today! The current crew stays on track, now with significantly simplified (with just single platform of 2 products instead of 5) and modernized (from both tech and business perspective) "fleet"!
