I lost my most prized possession when getting off a flight on my way to present at the #FutureOfMiningSummit in Gaborone last month. I left it in the front seat pocket of the plane (rookie mistake I know 🤦♂️ ). I told a colleague later that day and when they asked me if I’d buy a new one, I told them I wouldn’t need to, I was certain I would get it back. Why she asked? Because we’re in Botswana, and Botswana is a special place 😀 ! Fast forward 24 hours and coming through security at Sir Seretse Shama International Airport was one of the Air Botswana security team, with my Kindle in hand! I can safely say that in all the airports I fly through in a year, this would never happen in any of them. Botswana and The Batswana people are incredibly special, if you’ve never been get on-line and book yourself a well earned break with Air Botswana 👨✈️ 🛩 !
