We congratulate UEM Sunrise on the approval of their Build-to-Rent project in Collingwood. Tract's landscape architecture team worked closely with Cox Architecture to craft the external public and communal open spaces. Green open space is highly sought after within this urban neighbourhood, so we're thrilled that this project includes a new public square on Islington Street for the wider neighbourhood to enjoy. The landscape vision for the project is ‘’greening the industrial,’’ integrating materials that reflect the neighbourhood’s industrial context with a landscape overlay that provides a green oasis through an abundance of planting, including vines, ferns and trees. Today's project shares a preliminary concept related to a fountain renovation project that is part of a more extensive landscape architecture intervention. Keeping almost the same equipment, the previous vertical shape of the water jets, dispersed in a dry plaza, is now replaced by lower height and more volume water effects concentrated on the top of two sculptural pools. Having worked with FCBStudios and Grant Associates in the past, City & Country was keen to work with them again as both their imagination and reputation will deliver a design fitting for this main route into #Bath.
